[11p-M111-4] Optical and Electrical Anisotropies of Uniaxial Oriented π-conjugated Polymer Thin Films Fabricated by Bar-coating Method

The π-conjugated polymer, pBTTT thin films was fabricated by the bar-coating method, and the molecular orientation was discussed taking the optical and electrical anisotropies into consideration. The orientation of the polymer chain depended on the coating speed. In the thin films fabricated at 200 μm/s, the main chain direction of the polymer was perpendicular to the bar-sweep direction. In the thin films fabricated at 20 μm/s, contrariwise, the main chain direction was parallel to the bar-sweep direction. The carrier mobility of the pBTTT thin films possessed the angular dependence corresponding to the main chain direction.
