[11p-M112-4] First-principles study on electronically excited states of organic semiconductors: effects of intermolecular interactions

Takatoshi Fujita1 (1.IMS)

Keywords:organic semiconductor, electronically excited states, GW/BSE method

Predicting the energy level of electronically excited states is essential for understanding energy conversion processes in organic optoelectronic devices. In this study, we investigate excited states of organic semiconductors on the basis of the fragment molecular orbital method and GW/BSE method. We focus on effects of intermolecular interactions on excited states in pentacene thin films.
