[11p-M135-1] Switching of Optical Force on Nano-objects by Resonant Nonlinear Optical Response

Hajime Ishihara1 (1.Osaka Univ. /Osaka Pref. Univ.)

Keywords:Optical Manipulation, Optical force, Nanoparticles

Using the localized plasmon resonance and the resonance with electronic transitions is effective for the optical manipulation of nano-objects. In this talk, it is discussed that the synergy effect of these resonances enhances the degrees of freedom to manipulate nano-objects. For example, a push-pull switching and rotational switching are possible by the simultaneous use of these resonances.
