[11p-S224-6] Observation of Calcium-Alginate Gel with Calcium Probes

We developed an ultrasonic phantom with calcium alginate using sodium alginate as a gelling agent and calcium sulfate as a crosslinking agent. The hydrogel structure of the phantom has not been elucidated. We observed the gel structure of the phantom stained with various calcium probe reagents using an optical microscope. In this presentation, it is shown that the contrast of the observation image is emphasized using the calcium probe reagent, and the structure observation of the calcium alginate hydrogel becomes easy.
