[11p-S321-1] Evaluation of Hot Electron Bolometer Mixer using Magnetic Thin Film

We are proposing a new hot electron bolometer mixer (Ni-HEBM) using a magnetic thin film for the purpose of improving the IF bandwidth and the sensitivity. The Ni-HEBMs were fabricated and evaluatied its noise temperature and IF bandwidth. As results, the receiver noise temperature of 1220 K (DSB) at 2 THz and IF bandwidth of about 6.9 GHz at 1.9 THz were evaluated.
