Keywords:Microwave Multiplexer

Microwave Multiplexers (MW-Mux) based on superconducting resonators terminated by RF-SQUIDs have attracted much attention for reduction of signal wires and associated heat flow from room temperature to the cryogenic stage. However, reported readout noise current referred to SQUID input in MW-Mux was 10 times as large as that of single channel DC-SQUID. We have succeeded in the noise reduction of MW-Mux by tighter coupling of SQUID to detectors, that is difficult for DC-SQUID due to the half-wavelength resonance originating from its device structure.
