[11p-S321-5] Photon-Number Resolving Detector using Series Array of NbN Nanowire Shunted with Ti Resistors

We are investigating on photon-number resolving detector using series array of NbN nanowire single photon detector shunted with Ti resistor. We fabricated a three series of NbN nanowires shunted with Ti resistors and the fabricated detector showed three discrete current pulses under 850-nm pulsed laser illumination at 4.2 K. We will present experimental results for high speed response using parallel nanowire to reducing inductance of nanowires.
