[11p-S321-8] Characterization of optical transition edge sensors
Keywords:Transition edge sensor, Single-photon detector
Optical transition edge sensor (TES) detectors which can resolve an energy of a single photon have proven desirable in quantum information and biology. Applications to biology demands high resolution of wavelength. To optimize the TESs, their properties and physical model should be understood well. We report complex impedance of an optical TES up to 100 MHz. The detector was read out through a superconducting coaxial cable. We will discuss their physical model based on the measured impedance.
