[11p-W323-12] Relationship between droplet emission and corona discharge current with sharpened tip of Taylor cone
Keywords:corona discharge, electrostatic spraying, plasma-liquid interaction
Plasma-liquid interaction is a key issue for plasma-induced liquid-phase reactions. Fine mists enhance the plasma-liquid interaction due to their large contact area between plasma and liquid. Electrostatic spraying by Taylor cone is an effective way to generate fine droplets. However, the relationship between the droplet emission and the corona discharge is unclear. In this work, we investigated the effect of applied voltage on the characteristics of Taylor cone. We found the relationship between droplet emission and corona discharge current with sharpened tip of Taylor cone.
