[11p-W935-7] Development of transient absorption spectrometer using transition of photostationary states and application to isomerization of azo dyes

Keywords:multicolor multistep photoreaction, transition between photostationary states, photoreaction network

Photoreaction induced by white light such as solar light shows several photoreaction pathways passing through multicolor multistep processes. In order to obtain a knowledge on the photoreaction network, pump-probe measurements using monochromatic pump light is insufficient. In this study, transient absorption spectrometer using multicolor pump lights was constructed to observe millisecond time-resolved behavior in the transition between photostationary states. By using the constructed system, it is succeeded to observe and analyze a photoreaction network of azobenzene derivative that has four isomeric forms.
