It has been recognized that reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) produced in aqueous solutions play important roles in medical applications of atmospheric pressure plasmas. However, the detailed mechanisms of RONS production in aqueous solutions have not been fully understood. To investigate the production mechanism of RONS in aqueous solutions, we measured gas phase RONS and RONS in aqueous solutions produced by atmospheric pressure argon plasma and analyzed their correlations.
