With the development of advanced information society, quantum information processing devices are expected to be realized, and quantum dots (QD) are one promising material. In this study, the position of a single QD is controlled by scanning probe microscope lithography and silica coating technique, and a device combined with metamaterial is fabricated. It is expected that resonance between electron oscillation in metamaterial and light emission of QD causes increase in intensity, speeding up, and improvement in directivity. Elements were prototyped and initial optical performance was evaluated.
