Various optical devices utilizing the electro-optic (EO) effect of LiNbO3 (LN) have been put into practical use, but the wavelength dispersion of the high-frequency EO coefficient is not yet known. By subtracting the converse piezoelectric effect and the photo-elastic effect from the low frequency EO effect of the LN crystal, the wavelength dispersion of the high-frequency EO coefficients r22, r13, r33, r51 of the LN crystal was obtained over the wavelength range of 441.6 ~1580 nm.
