Keywords:optical vortex, optical complex amplitude, geometric transformation

Optical vortex has annular intensity distribution and azimuthal phase gradient 2πℓ, where ℓ is integer. The optical vortex has been attracted great attention because it has countable infinite spatial mode with optical angular momentum (OAM) ℓh/2π and can be applied to high-capacity communication using spatial mode multiplexing. Although the OAM conversion is the most essential technique for optical vortex, integer multiplication of OAM has not been able to implement with high efficiency and high accuracy. In this study, we proposed and experimentally confirmed new method to implement integer multiple of OAM utilizing geometric transformation of optical complex amplitude.
