[9a-M135-4] Theoretical and Simulation Study of Phase Difference between Probe Signal and Coherent Phonon

Atsushi Yamada1, Kazuhiro Yabana1 (1.Univ. Tsukuba)

Keywords:coherent phonon, simulation, ISRS

In the impulsive stimulated Raman scattering (ISRS) mechanism, it is considered that the measured signal of coherent phonon as a function of pump-probe delay time shows sine curve. In this study, we calculated the signal of the coherent phonon of diamond based on the first-principles simulation, however, the transmission change signal shows cosine curve. To understand the mechanism of this seemingly contradictory behavior of the sine/cosine signals, we show, based on the simulations and theoretical reconsideration, that the phase difference depends on the material system.
