Towards the material for post-OLEDs, we have examined the synthesis and luminescent properties of copper (I) bromide complexes with 1,4-diisocyanobenzene (DIB) as a ligand. We reported the reversible luminescent mechanochromism in which the change and restoration of emission color occurs due to the grinding and subsequent dipping into organic solvent. In this paper, the recovery of luminescent color by annealing instead of the dipping is confirmed.
