[9a-S422-10] Single crystal growth of Fe-Ga alloys by vertical Bridgman method

We succeeded in the vertical Bridgman growth of Fe-Ga alloy single crystals with 2 inch diameter and 100 mm long which were available for materials of vibration power generators. The Fe-Ga alloy single crystals grown with uniform Ga concentration showed the magnetostriction coefficient of over 300 ppm in an <100> direction.
