Energy harvesting is the important technology for the Internet of things. The Fe-Ga alloy magnetostrictive material is the promising material appllied for the vibration power generator, which is one of the energy harvesting technologies. In order to use the Fe-Ga alloy as the vibration power generator material, it is important to control the crystal orientation. In this research, we introduce the importance of the crystal orientation and express the single crystal growth of the 4 inch bulk Fe-Ga alloy ingot.
