Superconducting spintronics using superconductor/ferromagnetic heterojunction has been widely investigated both from theoretical and experimental approach. In order to study proximity effect between superconductivity (S) and ferromagnetism (F), heteroepitaxial thin film is desirable owing to clean and abrupt interface. However, rock-salt S/F heteroepitaxial thin film has not been realized yet. In this time, we report that high quality LaO/EuO heterospitaxial thin film was grown for the first time and that it exhibited suppression of superconductivity of LaO by ferromagnetism of EuO.
