We fabricated organic thin film transistors (OTFT) using 2C4-BDT-dimer thin films grown by flow coating. When the substrates were heated by light irradiation, it was difficult to slowly grow films because the solvent evaporated in a few minutes due to the the heating. Thus, it was investigated to slowly grow films by suppressing extra evaporation of the solvent using a light shielding plate. As a result, when crystal growth rate was 5 μm/s, the carrier mobility was greatly improved.
