[9p-PA5-8] AFM Observations of NaCl Nano-crystals Deposited Using the Sandwitch Freeze Drying Method

NaCl nano-crystals were grown on Si substrate using the sandwitch freeze drying technique, a method to yield aggregate-free nanoparticle samples for microscopy. They were used as a model sample for AFM 3D size measurements. A PSL trimodal suspension were spread onto another substrate by the same method and used to gain the tip shape to deconvolute the sample surface geometry.
