It is expected that the thickness of c-Si solar cells will steadily be decreased for reducing material cost as well as adding new functions such as flexibility. One of the benefits of reducing the wafer thickness is the improvement in VOC, which would leads to an improvement in the temperature coefficient of the conversion efficiency. In this study, we investigate the impact of the wafer thickness in a-Si:H/c-Si heterojunction cells on their photovoltaic properties under various temperatures.
