[9p-W621-10] Deep UV surface plasmon resonance of aluminum nano-void structures
Keywords:plasmonics
In order to achieve a very strong localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) in deep ultraviolet wavelength regions, Al nanovoid structures were fabricated by using the Ag nanoparticles which are easier to form fine hemisphere structures. The strong peak considerd to be due to the LESR was observed around 300 nm, and similar peak was obtained around 230 nm using the finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulations. This structure should be useful for application to high-efficiency light-emitting diodes (LEDs) in deep UV emissions.
