[10a-Z09-5] Discovery of gigantic magnetocaloric effect in HoB2 guided by machine-learning.

In this talk, we will discuss the process of building a machine learning model for exploration of magnetocaloric materials. We will talk about the use of ML as guide for search of materials, and our recent discovery of the gigantic magnetocaloric effect in HoB2, at TC = 15 K, exhibiting the highest volumetric magnetic entropy change for all of second-order phase transition materials in the temperature range of 4.2 K to 77 K.
