[10a-Z11-1] PbS quantum dot / ZnO-nanowire solar cells: effect of the overcoat layers

Colloidal quantum dots (QDs) give unique optical properties such as size-dependent absorption, which makes the QDs promising candidate materials toward high-efficiency solar cells. We have constructed colloidal PbS QD-based solar cells composed of ZnO nanowires (NWs) that yield highly efficient photovoltaic performance in the near-infrared region. In the presentation, the effect of the PbS QD overcoat layer between the PbS-ZnO-NW mixed layer and the gold electrode on the solar cell performance will be discussed.
