Nanostructures built up by freely assembling nanomaterials play a central role in nanoscience and nanotechnology. Here, we report that we developed a simple structure fabrication method that incorporates carbon nanotubes (CNTs), which are essential constituent of functional nanostructures. With this method, by combining a micromanipulation machine and a polymer stamp, it is possible to lift high orientation CNTs selectively with micrometer-order accuracy and place these on the host substrate with controlling position, orientation, and number. We optimized the transfer conditions and achieved to fabricate a lattice pattern of CNTs in position selective. Moreover, as an application example of this method, we fabricated a MoSe2 layer device with CNT in the local gate. This structure realizes a tunable one-dimensional confinement of charged excitons.
