[10p-Z13-2] Heat conduction analysis for the development of thermal phononics

Since thermal phononics enables us to manipulate heat transfer by structural control, it is one of powerful approaches to yield heat conduction property demanded in many scenes such as high and super-low thermal conductivity. However, underlying mechanism for the development of thermal phononics, which are for instance an insight of phonon coherence and a theoretical limit of heat conduction control by phononic structure, is not clarified yet. In this talk, we are going to present current issues in thermal phononics.
