An atmospheric-pressure plasma jet was irradiated onto aqueous solutions of Azo dye.
The Tartrazine aqueous solution (yellow) and the Amaranth aqueous solution (red) gradually became lighter with increasing plasma irradiation time, and they were decolorized after 60 min of irradiation.
