[11p-Z05-5] Decomposition of aromatic compounds using a dielectric barrier discharge at gas-liquid boundary
Keywords:Environment
Dielectric barrier discharge, operated in the gas-liquid boundary was applied to the degradation of Dibromo-phenol (DBP). The brominated aromatic compounds show acute toxicity to aqueous living and, occasionally, carcinogenic and hormone-disrumptive effect for human. The plasma degradation with the anion-exchange successfully worked and the controled the production of BrO3- by NO3-. Observation of the temporal behavior of NO3- and the neutralization will be discussed. .
