Flexible electronic devices that can be freely deformed have been developed in recent years. It is necessary to understand bending behaviors of polymer films to achieve mechanical durability of flexible devices. Although the mechanical properties of polymer films are affected by molecular orientation, the effect of molecular orientation on bending has not been elucidated. In this study, we investigated bending behaviors of polymer films that have uniaxially molecular orientations, and evaluated the effect of molecular orientation on bending behaviors.
