△ [9a-Z28-6] Development of polymer synaptic device for the creation of wetware

Aiming to the realization of dedicated hardware for artificial neural networks, we have proposed to use PEDOT:PSS, which grows in wire form through electropolymerization, as synaptic devices. We succeeded in reproducing the synaptic plasticity by doping control. The resistance value between two electrodes was changed by change of PEDOT:PSS wire’s conductivity. The result will increase the feasibility of a synaptic device consisting of conducting polymer, which wires freely in 3D space.
