[9a-Z29-1] Study on polymerization reaction of pentacene precursors during soft X-ray irradiation using D2 gas

To clarify the polymerization reaction during soft X-ray irradiation, we examined the change in the mixture film of pentacene, dihydropentacene, and pentacene oligomer prepared by using deuterium instead of light hydrogen as a source gas by soft X-ray irradiation. Before soft X-ray irradiation, a wide mass distribution was shown at m/z = 278-300, but the signal intensity of deuterated Pn was decreased by soft X-ray irradiation. It is considered that graphene was synthesized by polymerization due to the catalytic effect of Ni film.
