At TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, we have developed a solar cell type dosimeter for long-term constant monitoring of radiation dose during fuel debris picking out work. CuInSe(CIS) solar cells are expected as a sensor element with stable operation because of excellent radiation resistance. However, the radiation-induced current behavior of CIS solar cells as dosimeter applications has been studied to scarcely date. In this report, we report the radiation-induced current behavior of CIS solar cells for dosimeter applications.
