Silicon-based lithium ion battery is reckoned as an ideal choice owing to its ultrahigh theoretical capacity and rich natural resources. However, its practical application is hampered by the fast capacity decay and low Coulombic efficiency arising from the substantial volumetric variations and an unstable solidelectrolyte interphase (SEI). Herein, we propose an optimization of electronic and ionic conductivities of an anode electrode, where carbon materials as conductive additive in an anode are devised with graphene sheets ground by a 3-dimensional planetary ball mill cross-linked on functional active materials. The crashed and resolved graphene sheets are able to set electrical and ionic bridge between the active Si materials enable the coherent link with the surface of each Si powder.
