Keywords:Pr3 +: YLF laser, CW 320nm laser

When a Pr3+: YLF crystal is excited using GaN blue LDs of π-polarized light (442 nm) and σ-polarized light (444 nm), and a red light of 639 nm is oscillated, a continuous ultraviolet output of 320 nm is obtained using a nonlinear crystal LBO. By strictly superimposing the π-polarized light and the σ-polarized beam, an output of 320 nm, which is twice or more, is obtained, and the reason is that two-photon absorption is used. (2) Use a concave mirror on the excitation side to stabilize the fluctuation of the excitation of the refractive index in the crystal. (3) Use the ion beam assist method to prevent deliquescence of LBO.
