Temperature variation of photoluminescence from Ti doped phosphor crystals were evaluated for a fluorescence thermometer application. Ti doped Al₂O₃ and Ti doped MgAl₂O₄ crystals were used as specimens. Peak intensity of photoluminescence from these crystals decrease with temperature.
