Keywords:Eu phosphor, laser, reducing process

As a method for reducing Eu ions, we found that Eu ions were reduced by irradiating the laser in liquid, in addition, this method is different from a conventional method, which is called by photo reduction. According to our previous research results, we suggest that the vacancies formed in compounds contribute to photo reduction, but the details of mechanism are still not clear. Therefore, in order to clarify the influence of vacancies in compounds on photo reduction, we prepared Eu ions and metal ions co-doped KSrPO4 and compared their photo reduction efficiency.
