[12p-A307-6] Electron-phonon interaction and microscopic phonon transport analysis

Yoshihiro Ishitani1 (1.Chiba Univ.)

Keywords:phonon, microscopic analysis of phonon transport, control of phonon-radiation interaction

Operating characteristics of many semiconductor devices depend on the electron-phonon interaction, and thus, heat transport control is required. However, the target phonon mode of control depends on the device. In this talk, we discuss the phonon modes that determine the dissociation process of excitons, discuss the microscopic analysis of heat transport at crystal defects and interfaces, and finally discuss the control of the interaction between LO phonons and radiation field by fabricating surface structures.
