[12p-A402-16] Performance evaluation of organic photovoltaic cells under LED light: Comparison with various photovoltaic cells for indoor use

We compared the low illuminance characteristics of organic photovoltaic cells (OPV) using LED light with another photovoltaic cells for indoor light use. The bulk-heterojunction OPV composed with IDTBR as a new n-type semiconductor and PfFBT4T-2OD as a p-type was fabricated. We compared with photovoltaic cells such as amorphous silicon, dye sensitized, and III-V compounds, and investigated the design guidelines for OPV for indoor use This shows the possibility of preparering OPV having low illuminance performance comparable to compound photovoltaic cells.
