We compared the low illuminance characteristics of organic photovoltaic cells (OPV) using LED light with another photovoltaic cells for indoor light use. The bulk-heterojunction OPV composed with IDTBR as a new n-type semiconductor and PfFBT4T-2OD as a p-type was fabricated. We compared with photovoltaic cells such as amorphous silicon, dye sensitized, and III-V compounds, and investigated the design guidelines for OPV for indoor use This shows the possibility of preparering OPV having low illuminance performance comparable to compound photovoltaic cells.
