High dose-rate radiation detection is required for Fukushima decommissioning. We proposed a compact and radiation-tolerant dosimeter without power supply using the solar cells. In this work, we investigated the effects of radiation irradiation such as gamma ray and neutron on CdTe thin-film solar cells. It was found that gamma ray detection could be performed with low noise in a high dose rate neutron environment.
