[13a-A301-6] Spiking-Neuron-Based Ultra-low Power Circuit Technology for Energy Harvesting

Takeaki Yajima Yajima1,2 (1.Univ. of Tokyo, 2.JST PRESTO)

Keywords:ultra-low power circuit, neuromorphic, asynchronous control

The ultra-low power circuit technology is indispensable for edge devices powered by energy harvesting. In this presentation, the spiking-neuron-based operation principle in the biological neuronal circuits is introduced to the conventional CMOS digital circuits to achieve the asynchronous and decentralized ciecuit operation. Then, this unique circuit is specifically designed for controlling the MEMS vibration power generator and achieves nano watt level low-power operation according to the simulation.
