3D-Mössbauer Microscope is an evaluation technique specially designed for investigating of Fe impurity states in Si solar cells. We use the recoil-free gamma-ray resonant absorption, i.e. the Mössbauer Effect, and therefore, the observations do not influence the chemical iron states in the system. The measuring time for one image, which consists of 80x80 pixels with several 10 micrometres resolution, will be typically three days when we measure Si solar cell without any intentional Fe deposition. We will report on a series of Mössbauer studies to clarify the Fe chemical states and their lattice sites in mc-Si wafers.
