Applying carbon nanotubes(CNTs) to next-generation wires requires the syntjesis of high-quality and ultralong CNTs.
We reported to synthesis high quality and ultralong carbon nanotubes in laminar flow .
when carburized and splitting iron oxide fine particles and trapping them on the surface of the substrate
In this study, we investigated the origin of the hair-pin structured CNTs which is synthesised in laminar flow.CNTs formed by carburization and division of iron oxide particles attached to the substrate. It is thought that CNTs formed by carburization and fission of iron oxide fine particles land on the substrate and grow into hairpin CNTs while receiving shear stress from the fixed point.
