Keywords:body fluid viscosity, Viscosity measurement

The viscosity of body fluid is an indicator of lifestyle diseases, but has not been used because there is no device to easily measure and evaluate viscosity. In this research, we will present a method for evaluating body fluid viscosity using glass capillaries and optical sensors based on the Lucas-Washburn equation. It can evaluate the viscosity of a small amount of low-viscosity sample solution, and can measure samples containing cells and food residue.
