[13a-D221-8] Experiment of the occurrence of uniaxial spinodal decomposition in TiO₂-RuO₂ films

We investigate the possibility of anisotropy in spinodal decomposition in a rutile-type TiO₂-RuO₂ system, using (001)-oriented epitaxial films. As a result, the films show the isotropic decomposition with keeping the c-axis orientation. The results are interprets in terms of the elastic energy of the TiO₂-RuO₂ system.
