[13p-A405-2] Fabrication of diode using Pentacene and Pentacenequinone and elucidation of its operation principle

We aimed to evaluate the diode characteristics generated by combining pentacenequinone and pentacene and to clarify the operating principle.
We considered the carrier flow by directly observing the electronic structure at the interface.
In this experiment, I fabricated a vertical PN diode using thin films and evaluated the correlation between pentacenequinone film thickness and device performance.
In the talk, I will discuss in detail the correspondence with interface electronic states by photoelectron spectroscopy.
