[13p-B508-15] Enhancements of THz Wave Emission from Water Flow Irradiated by Double-pulsed Femtosecond Laser

Intense laser irradiation to condensed matters including water result in ablation, or hard X-ray emission under specific conditions with high laser power. In recent years, THz wave emission from water is also reported. Furthermore, simulatneous emission of such THz wave and X-ray is highly expected in conventional laboratories for applications. In this presentation, such simulatneous emission of such THz wave and X-ray from water flow when irradiated by focused femtoseocnd laser pulses will be reported. In particular, some results on THz wave emission enhancements under double pulse excitation conditions will be introduced and mechanism discussions will be described.
