Keywords:In-liquid plasma

We conducted experiments to clarify the mechanism of drug simulated molecule introduction induced by in-liquid plasma toward a minimally invasive treatment in human body. Direct irradiation of in-liquid plasma significantly enhanced YOYO-1 introduction into cultured cells compared to indirect irradiation and addition of superoxide dismutase did not inhibit the YOYO-1 introduction effect by the direct irradiation. Therefore, it was considered that the key factor of the plasma-induced YOYO-1 introduction might be not short-lived reactive species such as O2•− but electrical and mechanical stimuli caused by the in-liquid plasma.
