One of the factors limiting the performance of tin-based ASnX3-type perovskite solar cells is the formation of Sn(IV) species by the oxidation of Sn(II). Here, we show that the addition of dihydropyrazine as a scavenger to reduce Sn(IV) to Sn(II) improves the electrical properties of the perovskite films and solar cell performance.
