Keywords:lead free perovskite, photoluminescence lifetime, tin bromide complex

We demonstrate the reduced defect density in tin perovskite thin films fabricated with a new SnBr2 complex by the extended photoluminescence lifetime and increased fluorescence spectrum intensity. Using this highly purified source of Sn2+ and Br–, a series of perovskite thin films were prepared combining various ions on the A and X sites of ASnX3 (A = MA+, FA+, Cs+; X = I–, Br–). The influence of the I/Br and MA/FA/Cs ratios on their physical and electronic properties was systematically evaluated in order to optimize the charge extraction efficiencies in tin perovskite solar cells.
